I'm being drawn in to the CC vortex kicking and screaming! I have a bought and recently up-dated version of LR installed and working fine on my iMac. Simply and obviously, I needed the Dropbox add on to make selected photos available for various projects. So I bought the add-on down at the Adobe general store. Then I come to find out that I can't just install it to my LR. I have to buy in to installing CC manager on my computer. I am told that THEN, once I'd done that, that the add-on would magically appear when I restart LR. HA! Not so simple Grasshopper! I've followed all the recommendations to instal this and adjust that and still, no indication that I had bought this add-on or where on earth I can find it. Deadends and obfuscation abound and its driving me nuts as the whole process eats away at my deadline. PLEASE HELP! Is it simply that I have to start paying for the whole CC suite, monthly as if I were a wealthy corporate Art Director? or is there a way for this humble country gardener to use MY LR swiftly and efficiently for the two or three design projects i need to do a year?
Where is my Dropbox add-on?
Easy Panel CC 2014 - CC Extension Manager Issues
I am trying to install Jimmy McIntyre's newest version of Easy Panel which was just recently released. I already have the Power Pack actions installed. I am using CC 2014 14.2.2 and I just uninstalled Extension Manager CC and reinstalled it so I know that I have the most current version. Jimmy's .zxp file comes with two versions of the Easy Panel, one titled CC2014.zxp and the other CS5 CS 6 CC.zxp. When I try to install CC2014.zxp the Ext Manager it says I need PS 2015 version or greater. When I try to enter CS5 CS6 CC.zxp version Ext Manager says I need PS version 14.9 or lower. I have also tried manually installing the Easy Panel Folder by unzipping, building the Easy Panel folder and installing directly into "Application support/adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions/" folder as per Jimmy's pdf instructions but this has not worked either. Please help......
Why isn't Premiere Pro CC 2015 recognized in Extension Manager CC
My end goal was to get the Plural Eyes connector attached to Premiere Pro CC 2015.
Once I started to do this, I made sure everything was updated and using the latest versions of Plural Eyes and PPCC15. However, I ran across an issue that I was using Adobe Extension Manager CS6. Upon downloading the CC version, none of the CC15 applications were listed (or recognized) within the new extension manager. So I proceeded to install the "connector" for Plural Eyes, hoping it would just recognize the CC15 applications I could use with it. Well, the extension manager gave me an error mentioning that I needed to "...make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the extension supports."
Can anyone help me with this issue, please?
Thanks!

ExManCmd status -402 error
One of our customers has an issue with installing our BeatEdit for Premiere Pro ZXP extension.
When using the ExManCmd.exe, it returns "Failed to install, status = -402"
see screenshot:
What does -402 mean?
The -411 that you can see below means that there was no compatible host application found, but for the previous (402) call there is definitely a compatible host app.
Cheers,
Mathias
Adobe Extension Manager Failed to Install the Extension.
I am trying to instal a Premiere Pro ( .ppro ) extension and when I do, I get this message:
" Failed to Install the Extension "#$^&#.ppro" please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the extension supports."
However with that same extension, I was able to install it on my work computer but not my personal computer. I am using the same Adobe account for both.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest versions of Adobe Extension Manager CC.
What should I do to get this extension synced?
Thanks,
Cody
Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid in latest version of Extension Manager CC?
Hello, I know a lot of people have been asking the same question as me but unfortunately I can't find the right solution for my problem.
I'm using mac with the latest Adobe PS CC 2015.1.2 64-bit version and Adobe Extension Manager CC 7.3.2.39.
I tried installing
LayerCraft - lab.rayps.com/lc/
duplllicator -tools.enotart.ru
renderly-2.8.0 - https://render.ly
Velositey-v2 - Velositey Version 2 - Photoshop Extension by D&K
and none of these awesome extensions work. Help would be much appreciated.
I also noticed my Adobe CC products are also not listed in the Adobe extension manager CC products columns.
I tried re-installing Extension CC for the 10th time and nothing seems to work.
I also tried this solution by @K.Woods
Please try closing all Adobe apps including Extension Manager, then delete the ExMan.db file from C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Configuration\DB (Windows) / HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Configuration/DB (Mac) and also delete the contents of the OOBE folder: C:\Users\woods\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE (Windows) / HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE (Mac)
Once deleted, please restart your computer and retry Extension Manager to see if Photoshop is showing up.
and it didn't work.
I just want to use these extensions. Can someone help me? Unpack them or make a fresh installer perhaps?
Help would be very much appreciated.
I am getting this error message when using Illustrator and Photoshop: "The FMCore application that is currently running is incompatible with the Extensis plug-in."
Unexpected error installing add-ons – Extension Manager CS6
The Problem: "An unexpected error occurred while attempting to verify this extension."
What I have: CS6 Design and Web Premium on Mac OS X 10.8.5. with Extension Manager CS6 6.0.8.28 (German)
What I want: Install ToolkitforCreateJS_1_0_3.zxp and AnimatedSVGExporter_3_46_0.zxp
What I did:
Albeit the error I was able to install the add-ons by following one of your threads:
- renaming ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db to .../opm.db.bak
- after that EM asked me for my AdobeID and rebuilt the opm.db and I could install the wanted add-ons
- unfortunately that messed up my InDesign add-ons (got lots of exclamation marks in EM on standard Adobe add-ons)
- I was unable to (re)activate these marked InDesign add-ons, InDesign was missing important UI elements, etc. and crashed constantly
- the only solution was to reinstall InDesign and update all CS6 apps -> could (re)activate add-ons -> exclamation marks were gone -> InDesign stable again
- I retried installing the zxp-files, but again no chance to install with the mentioned unexpected error.
- I tried to install by CommandLine
- hangs on ~/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/ZDR004a6e7e.TMP/exman_raw.zip_UNPACK/META-INF/signatures. xml
- Console gives me .Adobe Extension Manager CS6: Warning: accessing obsolete X509 Anchors
- is there a special X509 certificate that needs to be valid and present in the keychain for installing add-ons?
- I tried switching from Java 1.8.x version to my original 32-bit version provided by Apple with no effect
- I read about resigning the add-on with ZXPSignCmd (Version 4.x for CS6) but stucked because I couldn't find a way to sign an existing zxp-file or how to decompile the zxp-file to resign it
- some years ago I was able to install add-ons without problems. Today I'm not able to install any add-on that I tried
Any recommendations besides asking the add-on developer or reinstalling the whole CS?
Extension managert CS6 never finishes loading extensions

Unpacking a .zxp file
I have extension manager 5.5 and I'd like to install a plugin(The Animator's Toolbar CS6) for photoshop but I have 5.5 and it won't allow me.
Could I somehow unpack the .zxp file and manually place the files in right places? I think I read somewhere that they aren't that different from each other so it should be compatible?
There are few places that mention to change the file extension to .zip but I'm still unable to open the file. I've tried with 7zip.
edit: Where are the older plugins? Everything is cs6 or cc..
add ons in creative cloud not appearing in muse
Hi:
I was able to download add-ons via the adobe widget page and successfully downloaded them to the Adobe CC widget after installing Extension Manger.
My challenge is getting these downloaded add-ons sitting in the CC window to show up in the Muse panels.
This discussion seems to say the adobe muse add-ons will appear in the actual computer download, which is not the case:
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1642218?q=installing%20add-ons%20from
It downloaded to CC panel and not my computer.
I was able to download widgets located in zip files, but this system you created to easily install widgets is not working based on the number of questions I am reading.
It is a great product and the widgets are really a selling point.
Thank you.
ExManCmd, Illustrator CC 2015 (19.2), failed to copy plugins
Hi,
We have developped an hybride extension (html + plugins).
Actually, we use ExManCmd line tool to install our extension.
But we have some issues. Depending on which computer you are using it, there is a different result.
Windows;
On a first Windows 10 64 bits workstation: it is fine.
On a second Windows 10 64 bits workstation: ko. (plugins are not copied in adobe plugins directory).
Mac:
It used to work on Mac, but since the last release, it is not woking anymore. And we don't know why.
This is quite annoying.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx,
Thomas.

Adobe Approved Extension Failure
I have purchased and downloaded directly from the developer (DwZone - Dreamweaver extensions) an extension that does not work as advertised. The developer also advertises money back guarantee within 30 days but developer will not return my money. How do I go about reporting this developer to Adobe? I cannot review the extension (Shopping Cart PHP) because I purchased it directly from DWZone but would like to.
extension can not be installed requires Illustrator version in range of 15 and 15.9
This extension can not be installed, it requires Illustrator version in range of inclusively between 15.0 and 15.9.
Some of our customers are experiencing this error message while attemtping to install Illustrator CC using Extension Manager CC.
This seems to be an issue on OSX Mavericks.
Please let us know what can be done to remedy this problem.
Thank you.
Unable to Remove plug-in using Extension Manager
I have installed my plug-ins into InDesign CS5 using the Extension Manager CS5, the installation is successful. When I select my plug-in entry in the list of installed plug-ins and then click on the Remove button, the Extension Manager displays a progress bar and the line disappears from the list but the plug-in sits there in the Plug-Ins folder untouched!
What's going on? How do I make sure that the plug-in is removed/uninstalled? Is there a log file for errors from the Extension Manager?
Thanks a lot.
