Extension Manager CS6 hangs on "Loading Extensions" and I cannot uninstall it.

Hello,

 

I've been having trouble with extension manager cs6 for about two days now, trying to apply patches to it to make it run more smoothly and stop hanging on "Loading Extensions". I have looked through these forums and they suggested that I remove all mxi files from a subfolder called "EM Store", but I cannot find a EM store under the proper location. I also cannot uninstall extension manager from my control panel, as it does not show up. I am just trying to get keyframe caddy for Adobe Flash, but I cannot get it without extension manager which is a giant pain. I've seen other people post both of their log files, but I think that just makes these forums impossible to find any real answers, as the majority of it is the log file. Please help asap, as I need this project that I am doing to be done fairly quickly.

 

Short story:

 

1. Manager hangs at "Loading Extensions"

2. Tried patching with updates, did not work

3. Tried finding the two subfolders, cannot find them at all in proper location

4. Cannot uninstall it from control panel

5. Need Help asap

Can't open the Extension Manager CS6

Hi,

 

After installation of my new Master Collection CS6 package, I found that I can't launch the Extension Manager. I could see the first screen of the EM but the cursor just running and saying the loading of extension function is in the progress. I wait for an hour but the EM didn't open at all.  Can anyone here could give me a help?

Invalid signature - Extension Manager

I downloaded (purchased) fonts from Fonts.com and installed them on my computer. I see them and can use them in my InDesign and Illustrator but when I package the project to send to printer, it fails on the fonts and does not included the newly added fonts. I have uninstalled and re-installed the fonts. Now I discovered (on Fonts.com) the Adobe Extension and have downloaded the Extension Manager and the Fonts.com Extension, which fails with and "invalid signature" message.  The Extension Manager is successful and recognizes my Adobe products, but will not load the extension for Fonts.com. 

 

I am running CS6 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (not cloud versions) and have run the latest updates.

Extension manager not installing zxp for CC 2014

I have created zxp from mxi file.

below is the contents of mxi file used for the zxp.

If I change version 10 to 9 then it works fo indesign CC R1 fine.

Can't install Roland Studio Extension with Adobe CC 2017

Hi,

 

I'm operating a Roland Camm Pro-1 GMX300 with a Mac OS 10.11 on an iMac.

Roland offer an extension module to install with Adobe Illustrator.

 

I am unable to install the extension, I get a version mismatch (this extension can not be installed, it requires illustrator version in range of inclusivity between 18.0 and 21.9) even though I have a matchign AI version (21.0.2), see image attached.

 

What do I do? I can't access operation of the machine...

Can't install zxp file - Adobe Extension Manager misses a valid signature

Trying to install interpolate_p2_100512.zxp from "Download Interpolate extension for Photoshop - Adobe Labs" ,

into PS CS6 Extended, the Adobe Extension Manager CS6 starts and then states that the zxp file is missing a valid signature.

 

Does anyone know how to install such a zxp filed extension ?

Scene7 CS Extension - Does not contain valid signature

I need to convert a PDF to an fxg file to upload into Scene7. The documentation says I need Illustrator CS6 and the Scene7 CS Extension.  I installed Illustrator CS6 and downloaded the extension from my Scene7 admin account.  The file name is s7csxs.zxp

 

When try to install the plugin through Extension manager CS6 I get the following error:

"The extension 'Scene7' does not contain valid signature.  The extension will not be installed."

 

Im on a MacBook Pro, OSX Yosemite version 10.10.5

Unable to install zxp for Indesign cc 2018.

Hello,

 

I have created a zxp for indesign 2018 and using ZXP Installer to install it.

while installing i am facing an  error "Installation failed because the extension is not compatible with installed application" with console error as

"stdout: Failed to install, status = -411!".

Previous indesign versions Indesign 2014, 2015, 2017 are also present.

 

Please suggest any solution.

 

Following is the configuration in manifest file.

Extension Manager 5.5 keeps crashing instantly

I have the same problem and tried the same fix: it didn't work. The message I get when I try to start the installer is:

"AdobePatchInstaller" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

I tried downloading and opening it several times to be sure it wasn't just a glitch.

I have the Creative Suite 5.5, running on El Capitan.

I would appreciate any help!

I'm having trouble installing Keyframe Caddy Pro

The Adobe Extension Manager gives me this message each time I try to install Keyframe Caddy Pro.

 

Failed to install the extension 'com.cloudkid.KeyframeCaddyPro'.
Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the

Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the
extension supports.

 

I would appreciate any help you can share.

Extension Manager failed to load basic Indesign extensions

Hi,

Even after a full re-install of my OS and CS6 Suite, I still get a problem with Extension Manager.

 

Every time I launch EM, it fails to import all the basic Idcs6 extensions we normally get with the original application's installation package :

  • Idcs6-Actions.zxp
  • Idcs6-AlignmentPanel.zxp
  • Idcs6-AppFramework.zxp
  • Idcs6-ApplicationUI.zxp
  • Idcs6-Articles.zxp

.......

The  Error massage says that I have to check the extensions validity.

 

Inside Extension Manager, the Id Menu is present but there are no extensions.

 

 

Furthemore, I get many Ps ZXP extensions which can't be re-installed because of invalid signatur or bad packaging.

 

 

I have already tried many suggested solutions found on the Adobe forums or in the Adobe Help.

Now, I really don't know what to do !!!!

This extension cannot be installed because licensing verification failed

I'm logged into CC, but when trying to install an extension I get the error "This extension cannot be installed because licensing verification failed."

 

I can log in to Adobe.com, but when I use the SAME credentials in extension manager it fails. This just started happening today.

 

Mac OS X Mavericks

Adobe CC Suite

 

Any ideas?

Issue with Adobe Extension Manager Installing Add-On

Hello,

 

I purchased an add-on called "Keyframe Caddy Pro" Version 1.0.8 (by CloudKid) for Adobe Flash/Animate and followed the instructions to download and install it.  For some reason, I keep getting an error message that reads,

 

"Cannot find required data from database.  Extension will not be installed".

 

I feel like it doesn't seem to make sense because it says the add-on is compatible with Windows and Mac and Animate/Flash Pro version CC 2017 and Adobe Extension Manager CC is up to date.  Also, I clicked on the link where it said for me to retrieve my Add-on.

 

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions to solve this issue so I could install my Add-on for Animate.

Failed to Validate the License Online

When attempting install of add-ons, I get the error:  "Failed to Validate the License Online".  I've tried installing through the CC addon website and via the extension manager, but I still get the same issue.  Download and install of all CC apps is fine, just having a problem with add-ons.  Windows 7, 64-Bit PC.

error -402 upon installing an extension via Command Line

When I try to install my extension via command line, i receive the following error message:

"Failed to install, status = -402!"

 

What does this error code -402 mean?

 

I found someone with a similar problem in the forums: Re: Extension Manager CC failed to install extension

He/She had file names containing non-ASCII characters. But i couldn't find any non-ASCII characters in my project or extension.

I have downloaded the Mac CS6 version of Extension Manager but it will not install "failed to initiate. This could be due to a missing file."

I need to install an extension which was "lost" when Adobe took over my iMac to sort out a problem. All the items were trashed and newly reinstalled but my extensions became lost in the process. I hope this can be sorted
