Hello,
I have created a zxp for indesign 2018 and using ZXP Installer to install it.
while installing i am facing an error "Installation failed because the extension is not compatible with installed application" with console error as
"stdout: Failed to install, status = -411!".
Previous indesign versions Indesign 2014, 2015, 2017 are also present.
Please suggest any solution.
Following is the configuration in manifest file.

<Host Name="IDSN" Version="[13,13.9]" />
</HostList>
<RequiredRuntimeList>
<RequiredRuntime Name="CSXS" Version="7.0" />

All extensions that I have are all greyed out. I can navigate to them to install, but obviously I can't click on ANY of them. Never had this before.
Using all CC products on Mac ver 10.8.4
Thank you for any help!!!
What is error code 603, please, regarding add-on installation? (The error codes page says for "error 6xx" to contact the Exchange online forum for assistance..) It is a "failed online license check" for an add-on that is a free add-on listed on the Adobe Add-ons page as compatible with PS CS6, CC, and CC 2014, as well as all three versions of a bunch of other apps. It is a Flypaper app, which looks to have been reworked to be compatible with the new 2014 apps. Since Flypaper apps come from reliable source, I'm not sure what the error means, and I'm certainly not sure how to remedy this. (The original Russell Brown Paper Textures Pro works fine on PS CC but isn't compatible with 2014.)
I am running Win 7 64-bit.
Thanks.
Gail
p.s. numbers of other extensions still don't download to PS 2014, so maybe this is also waiting for an Adobe fix??
I am trying to install recently download/purchased BEAUTY RETOUCHING ACTION KIT from Adobe Add-On page, also downloaded latet ADOBE EXTENTION MANAGER CC but unable to install the Retouching Kit..
The message displayed is you need a Photoshop 13.0 or above., but we already have 14.1 version of Photoshop duly installed.
didn't get any appropriate help from the Support Page too
I purchased a water color action and it cannot install the .zxp file. I am using photoshop cc 2015 and it says I must have photoshop 2014 or newer.
CC gives me an error code -604. What does this mean?
Hi all!
I downloaded and installed Adobe Extension Manager version 7.3.2.39.
As far as I know, this is the latest version from Sept. 25 2014: Adobe Extension Manager Updates Downloads
It is installed under:
Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CC/Adobe Extension Manager CC.app
After starting the app, it will not recognize any of my installed CC apps like:
InDesign CC v9.3.0
InDesign CC v10.2.0
or others.
What can be done?
Uwe
Hello,
I updated yesterday my Creative Suite from CS6 to CC.
Everything works fine except the Extension Manager.
Only when I klick in the Menu "About Extension Manager" it will stop and the following window will show up.
Pay attention on Version: null
I live in Germany so use the German Version: "null" means "zero"
When I quit the App then Extension Manager is crashing.
What can I do?
Thank you so much for your help.
Robin
P.S. Extension Manager CS6 works fine.
There are two updates for Mac for the "Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update" so it can be manually downloaded. Unfortunately for Windows users there is no manual download when the "Adobe Application Manager" fails to install the required update. I have just done a clean install and the 'AAM' failed on all the required updates for CS5, so I got the updates for the software form the support pages. I would like to know where the Windows version of "Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update" is on the adobe site?
For some strange reason it stopped working all of a sudden!
Why doesn't Photoshop CS6 show up in Adobe Extension Manager CS6?
I'm trying to get Davide Barranca's Floating Adj Extension going again in Photoshop.
Below is a screen shot of my Adobe Extension Manager CS6 window.
No Photoshop listed. Why? What could have happened?
The actual Photoshop CC 2015 is not listed in the Extension Manager (all CC2014 apps are there).
Tried to reinstall Extension Manager and restart of the Computer.
Is there an update for the Extension Manager coming? Or how can this be solved?
Thanks.
Hi,
i can't find any license information about ExManCmd. There is no information in the zip i downloaded nor at the ExManCmd website Adobe Exchange or Extension Manager Help | Working from the command line.
Is it possible to redistribute it in a custom installer?
Thanks and Regards
Daniel Jetten
Hi,
Even after a full re-install of my OS and CS6 Suite, I still get a problem with Extension Manager.
Every time I launch EM, it fails to import all the basic Idcs6 extensions we normally get with the original application's installation package :
.......
The Error massage says that I have to check the extensions validity.
Inside Extension Manager, the Id Menu is present but there are no extensions.
Furthemore, I get many Ps ZXP extensions which can't be re-installed because of invalid signatur or bad packaging.
I have already tried many suggested solutions found on the Adobe forums or in the Adobe Help.
Now, I really don't know what to do !!!!
I am running on Mac OS 10.8 and have tried changing the permissions on all my adobe applications to read/write. I have also installed patches, restarted my machine and reinstalled extension manager with no success. The exact errror I am getting is "You do not have the appropriate permissions required to perform this action..."
Any help?
Hello,
I've been having trouble with extension manager cs6 for about two days now, trying to apply patches to it to make it run more smoothly and stop hanging on "Loading Extensions". I have looked through these forums and they suggested that I remove all mxi files from a subfolder called "EM Store", but I cannot find a EM store under the proper location. I also cannot uninstall extension manager from my control panel, as it does not show up. I am just trying to get keyframe caddy for Adobe Flash, but I cannot get it without extension manager which is a giant pain. I've seen other people post both of their log files, but I think that just makes these forums impossible to find any real answers, as the majority of it is the log file. Please help asap, as I need this project that I am doing to be done fairly quickly.
Short story:
1. Manager hangs at "Loading Extensions"
2. Tried patching with updates, did not work
3. Tried finding the two subfolders, cannot find them at all in proper location
4. Cannot uninstall it from control panel
5. Need Help asap
Running OSX 10.9.4, all software up to date (according to Cloud Manager). I double click a .zxp and it hangs. I also have EM CS6 installed from the old days (don't know if this would create conflicts). Neither of them run, they both hang.
Hi there,
This is happening everytime that extension manager app has an update.
Thanks
