Please help! I'm trying to install a .zxp, it's failing. Reinstalling Photoshop or uninstalling both versions and just installing one has not helped at all, so it doesn't seem to be bc there are 2 versions installed.

1) Running OS X Mavericks 10.9.2

2) Have Photoshop CS6 and CC Installed, have updated absolutely everything to this point.

3) Installs fine under Extension Manager CS6

4) Won't install under Extension Manager CC

As image below shows, none of my Dreamweaver extensions are available to the new CC Extension manager.

Anyone know what to do?

I have just downloaded and installed the Extension Manager for CC. I have CC installed since maybe a month ago (Mac OSX). When launching the extension manager, no products are showing up to the left under (products). I have also updated the version to 7.1 but that did not help. This means that I cannot install the extension manager toolbar. It gives me the error that "This extension cannot be installed, it requires illustrator 17.0 or higer).

All other applications in my CC suite works fine,

Any ideas?

I'm trying to sign a manually created ZXP file using the ZXPSignCmd application. As the plugin comes as a part of a software package and installed by it, I can't generate a dummy certificate and re-sign the plugin using Adobe Exchange facility. So I have to use a commercial certificate to make sure no warnings will be shown to the end user.

Here is the command line:

ZXPSignCmd.exe -sign src plugin.zxp certificate.pfx <password> -tsa https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa

The "certificate.pfx" is a commercial Comodo certificate I use for signing applications. It is recognized on all modern operating systems without downloading any intermediate certificates.

I get a signed ZXP-file as a result, but when I try to install it using extension manager I get the "can not be verified" error. Here's what ZXPSignCmd.exe -verify tells me (private data removed):

I guess that the "OS Trusted: false" is the key, but have no idea what to do about this. The certificate is more than valid and I have no issues with it so far. Any ideas what to check or try?

The second question is about the timestamping service. Not sure if it is related, but anyway. I tried to use another timestamping service, suggested by Comodo: http://timestamp.comodoca.com/authenticode, but got the error:

Error - the timestamp returned from the chosen TSA could not be verified, so the ZXP created is likely to be rejected by other tools. Please recreate your ZXP with a different trusted TSA.

The question is: should I worry about this at all, or I can simply use the standard geotrust time server? Can timestamp server affect the signature validation?

(Couldn't find a CS6 Extension Manager Forum, tried the Photoshop CS6 forum without success)

Trying to install an extension (flaticon) in Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 using Extension Manager CS6 6.0.8.28 I get a popup window:

"This extension cannot be installed, it requires Photoshop version in range of inclusively between 12.0 and 14.9"

Since my version of Photoshop is 13.0.6, well between 12.0 and 14.9, what is going on?

I've tried the usual, reinstalling the extension manager, checking for other versions of Photoshop on my system to no avail. Why does the Extension Manager think my Photoshop CS6 installation is out of range? I have no problem with my laptop running the same versions.

The message displayed is you need a Photoshop 13.0 or above., but we already have 14.1 version of Photoshop duly installed.

please be kind, my english isn't so good...

after a stupidly manual deactivation of some Excentsion for InDesign CS6 in Extension Manager some (important) Extensions are missing in InDesign.

First I had the problem that some Extensions cannot be reactivated, see this image:

I've tried to undo my actions by using Time Machine or reinstall the extension, but they are still not available in InDesign.

These following Extensions making trouble or are marked with the Error Icon in Extension Manager:

Especially the Text Frame Options Extension is important for me, because I use it very often...

Does someone have an idea, how to fix that?

I bought Coolorus colour picker yesterday to use with Photoshop CS6 but the extension manager keeps saying "this extension cannot be installed, it requires photoshop version in range of inclusively 11 and 14." Is the colour picker not compatible with newer versions or can it be installed differently?

I'm running a Dell Inspiron 15r special edition with an i7 and 16gb ram. The version of photoshop is apparently 13 and the manager is 7.0.0.374

Hi,

After installation of my new Master Collection CS6 package, I found that I can't launch the Extension Manager. I could see the first screen of the EM but the cursor just running and saying the loading of extension function is in the progress. I wait for an hour but the EM didn't open at all.  Can anyone here could give me a help?

There are two updates for Mac for the "Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update" so it can be manually downloaded. Unfortunately for Windows users there is no manual download when the "Adobe Application Manager" fails to install the required update. I have just done a clean install and the 'AAM' failed on all the required updates for CS5, so I got the updates for the software form the support pages. I would like to know where the Windows version of "Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update" is on the adobe site?

I've got a code signing certificate (.pfx) from GlobalSign and tried to sign my extension package.

I used the ZXPSignCmd tool and got the following response:

Unable to build a valid certificate chain. Please make sure that all certificates are included in the certificate file.

The necessary certificate chain is installed on my system (Windows 7):

My code signing certificate,

the certificate from GlobalSign the signed my certificate

and the GlobalSign root certificate that signed it.

The OpenSSL info output for the certificate looks fine too:

MAC Iteration 2000

MAC verified OK

PKCS7 Data

Shrouded Keybag: pbeWithSHA1And3-KeyTripleDES-CBC, Iteration 2000

On the other hand signing other files with the Windows SDK Signtool works and results in a correct certificate chain (visible in the file's details).

Hello,

I was using the plugion "Flaticon" in Photoshop CC and CC 2014, but after doing the last Upgrade to CC 2014.2, the Plugin "dissapeared" out of my Photoshop Extensions menu and out of the Extension Manager CC.

When I tried to install the newest version of the plugin, I now get a message telling me that "The plugin can not be installed because of a conflict with an already installed plugin. To install this plugin, you have to delete the Plugin "Flaticon" installed into "". "

Yes, it says "", it seems that Extension Manager wanted to tell me the name of the application that still has "problem plugin" installed, but its not spitting out the name.

The weird thing is, I have the same problem on my MBP with OSX on it.... So I have two different systems (Win7 64-bit & OSX Yosemite) with the same problem. Here is a screenshot of the error message (sorry - in german).

Current Adobe Extension Manager CC version is 7.0.0.347.

I installed the Pluraleyes 3.5.3 extension in August and used it a couple of weeks ago. I tried it today in a new project and it didn't start or display any message. I removed it from the Extension Manager and now when I try to install it I get a message popup: Error occurred. Error code is -180. The extension will not be installed.

I downloaded Pluraleyes again and get the same error.

All my applications are the 2014 with the latest updates. I did remove Premiere Pro CC as I didn't need it any longer - if that's the problem, where do I get the CC version of Premiere Pro as it no doesn't show up in Cloud Control to install?

I was trying to reinstall Script Bay extension for it was somehow not working, and it refused to install for invalid signature. I've installed this extension many times on the current PC and old ones before but this is the first time I experience this.

I've seen some solutions for installing extensions but they were for Mac, not windows. And apparently Adobe doesn't support higher versions of Extension Managers for Windows. Is there a solution to this?

Hi, I'm trying to install some extensions to Flash CC professional.

I've tried to install a libappend.zxp file but I just get a message saying "this extension cannot be installed, it requires flash version 7 or greater".

Because Bridge CS6 is not supported by Extension Manager anymore, you have to install them manually.

For MXP extension, you can convert it to ZXP extensions with Extension Manager CS6. Then try steps below.

For ZXP extension, use utility software such as 7-zip, WinZip or WinRAR to extract it to a folder.If there is no mxi file after extraction, then it is a CSXS extension.

For CSXS ZXP extension,  move the folder to following folder.

    Windows:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS6ServiceManager\extensions\"

    Mac:"/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions/"

For non-CSXS ZXP extension, check the content of the MXI file. Copy all source files defined in "..." to the corresponding destination folders manually. If you are not sure where these files should be copied, please paste the mxi file here.

I can't instal the Dreamweaver CS6 extension xdmxHTML5 slide show, from DMXZone. The Adobe Extension manager CS6 returns an error "Impossible to update the menu". I'm running a Mac Pro machine with Mac OS X 10.9.1. Any hint?

I've cleared the DW cache as explained here http://www.dmxzone.com/go/16740/clearing-dreamweaver-s-cache/  w/o any luck.
