I can see the tools in tool presets but they don't show up under extensions.
How do I add NKS5 to Photoshop CS 2014?
Extension Manager CS5 does not recognize all CS5 apps
I'm on a Mac running OS X 10.5.8 using Extension Manager 5.0.334. When Extension Manager launches, it only recognizes four of the installed Creative Suite applications: Fireworks, Dreamweaver, InCopy and Bridge. Installed CS5 apps also include InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Flash Catalyst, etc. None of those show up in the Extension Manager.
When I attempt to install an extension for one of those apps (namely InDesign,) I either get an error message saying "Failed to install the Creative Suite Extension "Macintosh HD: Users: username:Desktop: Overlay Creator.zxp. Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the Extension Manager recognizes at least one product which the extension supports. The extension will not be installed" OR "This extension can not be installed, it requires InDesign version 7.0 or greater." (I have InDesign v7.03 installed)
I've reinstalled the Creative Suite, reinstalled the Extension Manager and reinstalled my operating system and none of those has had any effect on the programs that the Extension Manager recognizes.
Unable to install an extension in Extension Manager CC...
I have had some problems getting Extension Manager up and running in an AD environment. I ran the patch given to me by Adobe and I now can get the Program to boot up. However, I have another problem now.
I go into Extension Manager and click the Install button in the top right area. I find the .zxp file I have extracted and click open. I then get the Extension Manager Disclaimer and Accept the terms. It starts the process but stops and I get an error message saying:
File path '\\(Our server name)' is invalid. The extension will not be installed.
Note: I put (Our server name) there as a placeholder for our actual server name.
Is there a way in the registry to swap out reference to our server name to an actual drive letter? This seemed to fix some Adobe issues in the past but I have no idea where to do this for the Extension Manager.
Any other suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Richard Sedivy
Create zxp using mxi for CC
Hello,
Previously, I was creating zxp from mxi file using the menu "Package zxp Extension" in Extension Manager CS6. But now for Extension manager CC there is no such menu available. Please help me to create zxp using mxi for CC?
Thanks.
Extension Manager CC does not see .mxp
I can not open .mxp in Extension Manager CC on Mac OS 10.8.5. Extension Manager CC does not see files.
I've done update and all steps: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/kb/install-extensions-flash-professional.html
Installation Problem of Keyframe Caddy Pro
Extension Manager no longer shows applications after update to 7.3.2.39.
I've posted a similar question about this, but wasn't aware at the time that the update was what was causing my applications to disappear from the right hand panel. Only "Other" shows. I've done just about everything that I've seen in the forums, such as running ExtendScript Toolkit and checking the paths under "Targets" are correct for each application in CC. I've also gone as far as uninstalling everything, running Adobe Cleaner, and reinstalling everything. It worked, and applications were showing up.. until the upgrade of Extension Manager to 7.3.2.39. Right now I'm using an older version of Extension Manager, just so I can use and download plugins that I need. I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.5 currently. Its annoying to have to see that I have an update available in my Toolbar constantly, so I'd like to fix this. I can give you any info you need.
Thanks.
Uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - Not Listed in Control Panel Programs
- Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit
- Photoshop CS6, CC, CC 2014 installed
- Adobe Extension Manager CS6 (version 6.0.8.28 installed)
- Adobe Extension Manager CC (version 7.3.2.39 installed)
I want to delete Extension Manager CS6. According to online documentation, I should: Go to the Control Panel, select "Add or Remove Programs", select "Adobe Extension Manager CS6", and click "Remove."
Unfortunately, when I go to the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, "Adobe Extension Manager CS6" is not listed. If I simply search for "Extension," I only see "Adobe Extension Manager CC". If I search through the list of Adobe applications, it is not listed either.
However, when I hit my Windows Key followed by Q, I can execute "Adobe Extension Manager CS6". I was able to execute the program to provide you with the version number.
I want to delete Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Extension Manager CS6.
Given that I cannot locate "Adobe Extension Manager CS6" in the Programs section in the Control Panel, how do I uninstall it?
Where is my Dropbox add-on?
I'm being drawn in to the CC vortex kicking and screaming! I have a bought and recently up-dated version of LR installed and working fine on my iMac. Simply and obviously, I needed the Dropbox add on to make selected photos available for various projects. So I bought the add-on down at the Adobe general store. Then I come to find out that I can't just install it to my LR. I have to buy in to installing CC manager on my computer. I am told that THEN, once I'd done that, that the add-on would magically appear when I restart LR. HA! Not so simple Grasshopper! I've followed all the recommendations to instal this and adjust that and still, no indication that I had bought this add-on or where on earth I can find it. Deadends and obfuscation abound and its driving me nuts as the whole process eats away at my deadline. PLEASE HELP! Is it simply that I have to start paying for the whole CC suite, monthly as if I were a wealthy corporate Art Director? or is there a way for this humble country gardener to use MY LR swiftly and efficiently for the two or three design projects i need to do a year?
Announcement: CC 2015 is now compatible with Adobe Add-ons
Dear Adobe Add-ons users
Since the launch of Creative Cloud 2015 last month, some Add-ons users have experienced compatibility and installation problems. As a consequence, many Adobe Add-ons users were unable to install their acquired add-ons successfully via the Creative Cloud Desktop App.
We have been working in the background to release an update to the Creative Cloud Desktop App which will rectify the previous installation problems, and this new version has being rolled out today.
Note to Adobe Creative Cloud users: Please sign out and quit the Creative Cloud Desktop application. When you relaunch it and sign-in, you will be prompted to update your version. Please accept the request which will update the Creative Cloud Desktop app to version 2.1.3.121. You can verify your version by clicking ‘Settings>Preferences’. (Please see the screenshots below).
If not prompted, you can download the latest version from: http://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Please then log on to My Add-ons, and click 'Remove' then 'Install' to trigger a fresh installation of any add-ons you had acquired prior to this update.
We would like to apologize for the inconveniences caused to our Creative Cloud and Add-ons users during this period of transition to Creative Cloud 2015.
Kind regards,
Adobe Exchange/Add-ons team

I can't install extensions in CS 5.1
I am trying to install the WebZap V1.0 extension but it is not working. This is what I have done so far:
- I downloaded the Extension Manager for CS5 patch and tried to install it. The patch does not intall and I get the response, "Update is not applicable".
- So I tried to reinstall the WebZap extension and it fails.
- I then download the CS5.5 patch and try to install it. The installation works and I'm told my Extension Manager is updated.
- So I try to install the WebZap extension again and it fails. The extension manger "unexpectedly quits" and I am given a "Problem Report for Extension Manager".
All the instructions I found online say to do exactly what I listed above; install the patch then install the extension. Unfortunately it is not working for me. So am I doing something wrong or did I missunderstand the process or the steps?
Kubota Dashboard and Photoshop CC
Tried to install Kubota Dashboard 4 in Photoshop CC (Mac) with extension Mgr. Error says the extension cannot be installed, it requires Photoshop Version btw 12 and 13.0.1.
Called Kubota Support and they said it was an extension Mgr. problem and not theirs! Anyone know where the Dashboard extension resides in CS6? I could then copy it into
CC and try it that way.
The extension package is invalid. The extension will not be installed.
