Adobe Extentions Manager for CS6 will not see Photoshop CS6, It sees all of my other programs in my Creative Suite 6 Masters
i installed:
AdobeExtensionManager6_0_8All.dmg
on my mac, then i installed:
AdobeExtensionManager-6_0_8-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg
All of my other programs (dreamweaver, flash, etc) are recognized my adobe extentions manager but it does not see photoshop. i cannot install mxp or zxp files for photoshop.
i have uninstalled both dmg files and re-installed them. photoshop is not seen. the error is:

Extensions are all greyed out
All extensions that I have are all greyed out. I can navigate to them to install, but obviously I can't click on ANY of them. Never had this before.
Using all CC products on Mac ver 10.8.4

how to clear error code u44m1p34?
I cannot clear error code u44m1p34, when trying to update Adobe Extension Manager CC Version 7.0.0.347.
Removing and trying to do a clean install fails with the same error. Turning off all virus and firewall protection fails to clear issue.

Adobe support had me Create a new account, then rewrite Msconfig.exe to limit services and reboot. Then launch Photoshop and select update. That returned the same error. Problem has been on going for a week now, with no solution to be found. Support fails to list Adobe Extension Manager CC so, there isn't anyway to contact support and Chat fails to fix issue. Spent several days trying to fix issue now and very disappointed in Adobe Support at this stage. This is limited to one of 4 computers with this issue. Nothing clears to allow the update to complete. Problem seems to be in the Adobe code where the link to the Media_ DB is lost and the update cannot complete, due to no media files being found. Downloading AdobeExtensionManagerAll.zip or AdobeExtensionManager-7_2_1-mul-AdobeUpdate.zip and running them by first removing the Adobe Extension Manager CC and then running un-zipped files end with same error.
System: Windows 7 64-bit, Intel i7 cpu, 16 mb ram, Nvidia Geforce 670 w/4mb ram, Norton 360

Extension manager CS6 not loading (Mac OSX)
hi,
I've seen this problem on the forum, but didn't find "my" answer yet...
The extension manager CS6 stops loading when it's nearly finished... I cannot update-install or remove any extensions anymore... it just stays there 'hanging at the end' (see image)
I'm using the latest version (Extension mgr 6.0.8.28) and am working on a Mac OS X 10.6.8 (intel)
Any help is much appreciated!

CEPServiceManager4 installer or zip folder (PC/win 7, 64)

Is there any way to reinstal CEPServiceManager.exe? I found a virus, I recover all apps but not the Adobe Extension Manager. I tried several times to reinstal Adobe Extension Manager but without any success. I read some threads on adobe's forums and found that problem could be in my CEPServiceManager.exe. I found that my voulcancontrol.dll is broken. When I downloaded one from internet - then Adobe Extension Manager start but after that it freezing, so I can'nt install any extension etc.
I know that I can reinstall all CC aps but I don't have time for that - is there any option to get fresh install (or zip folder) of CEPServiceManager4? maybe I can overwirte that. (I have all apps up to date and they work ok for me)

Using CS6, not cloud version. Have Adobe extension mgr. Getting error code "An unexpected error occurred while attempting to verify this extension" when trying to install a plug in.

I'm using Dreamweaver CC, and I'm trying to setup a page where I can create a grading form that I can fill in, and then send to individual students. Does anyone know of any extensions that will allow me to build this out easily? It needs to be very simple to use since I've got over 180 students.

Unable to Remove plug-in using Extension Manager
I have installed my plug-ins into InDesign CS5 using the Extension Manager CS5, the installation is successful. When I select my plug-in entry in the list of installed plug-ins and then click on the Remove button, the Extension Manager displays a progress bar and the line disappears from the list but the plug-in sits there in the Plug-Ins folder untouched!
What's going on? How do I make sure that the plug-in is removed/uninstalled? Is there a log file for errors from the Extension Manager?

Move all of them to

Q: Extension Manager is extremely slow when I try to remove or update my extension.
If "shared" attribute is "true" for files in an extension, Extension Manager has to do many checks when removing or updating this extension. It is time consuming. If the number of shared files is large, the time needed is extremely long ( might be more than 20 minutes ). Extension Manager CS6 did some optimization for this issue. But for Extension Manager CS5.5 or earlier, this issue still exists. We suggest extension developers do not use "shared" attribute for files if it is not necessary.

error -402 upon installing an extension via Command Line
When I try to install my extension via command line, i receive the following error message:
"Failed to install, status = -402!"
What does this error code -402 mean?
I found someone with a similar problem in the forums: Re: Extension Manager CC failed to install extension
He/She had file names containing non-ASCII characters. But i couldn't find any non-ASCII characters in my project or extension.
