Ext Mgr updated; ext's that will work (many from CC are not supported in 2014) are activated in Ext Mgr window; "extensions" still grayed out in Window menu. What to do?

I have installed PS CC(2014), which seems to work normally, including an option to "edit in" PS CC.  Many CC extensions, like Paper Textures Pro,are not supported in 2014.  Even so, the updated Extension Manager open and, lists all the apps that it applies to.  When PS CC(2014) is selected, a few extensions are listed.  I have activated them, and they are checked.  However, in the Window menu, "extensions" is still grayed out, so no extension will load.
